The Uplands Garden Club (UGC) welcomes funding requests related to non-profit charitable gardens, both new and reconstruction projects.

Grants are awarded twice a year. Grant applications must be submitted before March 1 for the grants to be awarded by March 31st. Second Grant applications must be submitted by July 1 for grants to be awarded by August 15th.





Grants are reviewed by Grant Award Committee Members utilizing the following criteria:
Impact of the project on large group of people
Educational benefits for youth or adults
Plans for ongoing maintenance and sustainability
Providing volunteer opportunities for other Gardeners

Plans and pictures are recommended but not required. Grant application approval will be based on the number submitted and funds available for projects that will benefit the community from young to the elderly.
